Since the first time I saw a skateboard I knew it would be a part of who I am. Through out my life, for most part, I always have my skateboard. It teaches me lessons daily, like being persistent, determined, knowing if you fall you"re just going to have to get back up. Every situation where I abrade flesh on concrete feels like another session with Mr. Miyagi. You wouldn't think such a useless wooden toy could create such an impact in the perspective of the world, but to me every crack, curb, bank, etc. makes me think of it. Skateboards can make or break a person metaphorically or literally, although they can also be skill builders in evolving our talents and psychological composition. Beside the fact that it builds my character, along with my personality in my perception of living, the background of skateboarding makes it that much more interesting to be a part of. Back in the day, this globally advertised act of entertainment that we know it as today, was once never appreciated or acknowledged, but neglected by a majority of individuals. Skateboards were compared to graffiti in a sense. After years of molding through rebellious stages of being kicked out spots, fighting with authority, doing anything you can to have fun on your skateboard is what its all about. It is a culture, it forces a diverse population to get together all over the country in different cities and states because we all have love for the same thing, Skateboarding. I never stop, I will never quit, I will skate till I'm deceased.

In my Life backpack I carry with me: motivation, determination and imagination,  the standard necessities that help me survive. What I carry is different for all types of situations(missions). The things I carry may be diverse and have to be defined to a specific task/goal. They help support my foundation, keeping my head up and  focusing my attention to keep looking forward. The things I carry can overturn obstacles that stand in front of me, even in times of doubt, I use them like a Swiss-Army knife. All combined into one tool that consists of various sub-tools, in which never leaves my Life backpack, but can always come in handy for circumstances when I need it. For the things I carry are practical, useful for all sorts of miscellaneous objectives. They also can levitate me to places I have never expected of myself. They bring me to sites never imagined in my own perception. Though when obstacles are overcome by the necessities in my backpack, they are life long memories that can never be forgotten. Illustrating a universal moral that in-beds itself into the seams of the backpack I carry with me day by day.  In which they test/ prepare me, while they assist me to construct a stable mind-set. These are the things that transition me from one stage to the next.  Creating and developing a sense of capability for the following mission in life's path.
